This particular model has a new feature--"anti-dry fire with override," which I did not find on similar models (although I'm sure it will appear). It came with 7000 pins but I thought the shipping had mixed things up and the package only listed 4,000 pins; so, I e-mailed the distributor in Canada and received a reply within hours explaining things. Also, the distributor contacted me directly a second time after the sale to make sure everything was okay since he said they did not ship, rather shipping was through Amazon exclusively. Quality is good, but the instruction manual is totally worthless--can't find features advertised such as blow gun. Case is not a perfect fit, but okay (also probably made for Grex since it has florescent green latches (just don't care for the Grex green--personal). Chose this over other manufacturers because of the anti-dry fire and because it was featured in "Fine Woodworking" earlier this year.
