Where can I find Rikon 10-305 Bandsaw With Fence, 10-Inch Same as a Craftsman 10" Bandsaw with issues...By Michael HeilThis bandsaw is identical to the most recent Sears Craftsman 10" bandsaw. The only difference is the Rikon paint job which is probably worth $50, however Craftsman had this same model on sale for well under $200 recently. The price is also higher here because of "free" shipping. For the most part this is a well made machine; however there are a few issues. One, the upper blade guide twists out of square when the locking wingnut is tightened. This may be solved with some disassembly and workshop engineering, but most folks would not be able to do this. Two, the bearing guides do not allow adjustment for a 1/8" blade, although you can put a 1/8" blade on. The rear roller guide bearing doesn't come far enough forward, resulting in the outer bearings riding on the teeth and premature blade dulling. This alone almost defeats the purpose of having a small 10" benchtop bandsaw. Possibly more engineering might fix this.Three, don't expect the table to be square to the blade or the machine either.
